Tell us what happened
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version and the steps that led to the problem. Copy any error message, and tell us what you expected to happen. For website calculator queries, include the page address and your browser.
A screenshot can help, but hide customer names, addresses, contact details and prices you do not want to share. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, customer records or a full data archive. We will ask for a small, relevant example if we need one.
Create your first estimate
You can start without creating an account. Try the reusable demo job from the Dashboard, or create a job with your own customer and site details. Enter a known area or measured dimensions, check the result, then add material layers and your costs. Review the scope, markup or gross margin, tax and total before issuing a quote. Add your business name in Settings before creating your PDF.
Free access includes the calculator, the demo and one active real job at a time. Archive that job to start another. Solo Pro allows several active jobs. Quote revisions do not use another job slot.
Check a measurement or quantity
Check dimensions on site before using an estimate to order materials or quote for work. AR results depend on the device, light, surface and how you move the phone. Manual entry remains available when camera measurement is unsuitable. Pave Measure does not provide a certified survey or assess structural safety, hidden conditions or drainage performance.
If a quantity or price looks wrong, check the units, layer depth, density, waste allowance, supplier pack size and rate. Check whether profit is entered as markup or gross margin, as these produce different totals. The calculation method explains the website calculators and their assumptions.
Camera, location and dictation
Camera access is requested for camera features. You can enter measurements manually and select individual photographs through the system photo picker. Apple Maps address searches need a connection; if a result is incomplete, check it before saving or type the address yourself.
Location is used in the foreground when you request a nearby address or complete a dictated address. You can change permissions in your iPhone's Settings, under Apps > Pave Measure. The app does not track your location in the background.
Job dictation needs microphone and speech-recognition permission, plus available on-device English speech recognition. If it cannot start, type your note instead. Optional intelligent suggestions also depend on compatible hardware, Apple Intelligence settings, language and model availability. Manual observations and estimates remain available. Check every suggestion before saving it.
Restore, manage or cancel Solo Pro
From the Dashboard, open Settings > Solo Pro > Plans, purchases and restore. Monthly and annual options appear under Your plan, with the current price from Apple. Both provide the same Solo Pro access. Subscriptions renew automatically; no introductory trial is offered.
If a purchase is missing, check that your iPhone is signed into the Apple Account used to buy it, then choose Restore purchases on the plan screen. If prices will not load, check your connection and tap Retry. Contact us if the problem persists, including the displayed message.
To cancel, use Manage subscription in the app or open your iPhone's Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Pave Measure. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests. Your saved records, PDFs and data exports remain accessible when Solo Pro expires.
Back up or move your records
Open Settings > Backup and storage > Export full data archive. After the archive is created, choose Save or share archive and save it somewhere you control. An archive includes personal and commercial information, so keep it private. Creating a quote PDF does not back up the full job.
On the receiving device, choose Import an archive in Settings and select the file. The app validates it before asking you to import. Existing conflicts are kept, and conflicting imported jobs are added as separate copies. Review the result before removing an older backup. Restoring a purchase restores eligible Solo Pro access; it does not transfer job records.
If records will not open
Do not delete or reinstall the app before preserving a backup. Note the exact error and contact support. We do not hold a server copy of your jobs and cannot recover records from our own systems. If you have an exported archive, keep the original file safe while we investigate.
Delete records or ask about privacy
Archiving keeps a job; deleting removes its saved record. After deleting a job, use Settings > Backup and storage > Remove unreferenced attachments to remove files no longer used by saved records. Copies you previously shared or exported remain wherever you saved or sent them.
