Paving estimates and quotes, together on iPhone
Less time quoting.
More time building.
Turn your site visit into a clear, costed quote. Pave Measure brings customer details, measurements, material quantities and your own rates into one job, so you can spend less of your evening piecing the paperwork together.
The iPhone app is coming soon. Explore the workflow below and use the free website calculator today.

Built around the way you work
The visit is only
half the job.
You have walked the driveway, discussed the work and taken the measurements. Then come the quantities, supplier rates, labour, tax and customer paperwork.
Pave Measure brings those steps together. Capture the details while you are on site, build an estimate from the measured area and prepare a PDF quote from the saved job. Fewer details to copy between notes and spreadsheets. A clearer record when the customer comes back with changes.
Capture it once.
Keep the customer, address, measurements and notes with the job. Return to the information you already recorded instead of starting again when you sit down to quote.
Price the whole job.
Bring materials, labour, plant and overhead into the estimate. Review your costs and chosen markup or gross margin before committing to a customer price.
Keep the quote to hand.
Issue a reviewed PDF, share it from your iPhone and return to the saved revision when a customer asks what was included.
From first visit to customer quote
One job. Every detail
you need to price it.
Illustrated workflow featuring a fictional contractor. Actual app capture shown below.
Get the details down while they are fresh.

Create a job with the customer’s details, site address and work description. Search for an address with Apple Maps or enter it yourself. Keep site notes and photographs alongside the measurements.
With supported on-device English dictation, say the customer name, address and requested work, then check and confirm the extracted details. It gives you another way to capture the conversation without typing every field.
For your business: less retyping after a visit, with the important details attached to the right job.
Start your estimate with a checked measurement.

Enter a known area or dimensions, or place boundary corners with AR on a supported iPhone. Review the plan area and exclusions before carrying the measurement into your estimate.
Manual entry keeps the workflow useful when you already have measured dimensions. AR provides another capture option, with an independent measurement check required before relying on the result.
For your business: the measurement stays with the estimate, making the basis of your quantities easier to revisit.
Turn area and depth into quantities.

Add material layers with your compacted depth, density and ordering allowance. Pave Measure calculates quantities from those inputs, so you can work through the material requirements without repeating the arithmetic by hand.
Use assumptions appropriate to the job and confirmed with your supplier. Keep them with the estimate so you can see how the quantity was reached.
For your business: less repeated calculation and a clearer basis for checking what you need to order.
Try an asphalt quantity calculationYour rates. Your costs. Your decision.

Build up the estimate with material rates, labour, plant and overhead. Choose markup or gross margin, then review tax and the customer total before saving an estimate revision.
Set a default currency for new jobs and select a currency for individual estimates. Existing jobs and issued quotes retain their currency. Changing currency does not convert your rates.
For your business: a consistent costing process that helps you see what is included before you agree a price.
Give the customer something clear to consider.

Review the scope, exclusions and total, then issue a PDF quote. Preview the saved document and use your iPhone’s sharing options to send it through your preferred channel.
Issued revisions retain their own assumptions. If the job changes, you can return to the record of what you quoted rather than relying on memory.
For your business: customer paperwork comes from the job you have already built, with a saved record for follow-up conversations.
Find the job when the phone rings.

Use the Dashboard for recent work, Quotes for issued PDFs and Saved Jobs to search, filter and archive jobs. Reopen the customer’s record to review measurements, notes and saved revisions together.
Export a full data archive from Settings and keep a backup in a location you control. Import it when you need to restore or bring records back into the app.
For your business: less hunting through separate files when you need to pick up an estimate again.

The customer sees a written quote. You keep the measurement, costs and assumptions that sit behind it. That connection helps you explain the price, check the scope and respond when the work changes.
Preview the PDF before sharing, with the saved revision available to reopen afterwards.

Questions about the app.
Who is Pave Measure for?
Pave Measure is designed for paving and asphalt contractors who measure sites, calculate material quantities and prepare customer quotes. It is especially suited to an owner or estimator who wants to carry the job from site notes to pricing on an iPhone.
How can it make my business more efficient?
It connects the work that normally sits across several places: customer notes, measurements, material calculations, costs and the written quote. Reusing the saved job details reduces repeated entry, and saved revisions make follow-up easier. Actual time savings depend on your work and have not yet been measured in contractor field trials.
Do I need LiDAR or AI to use it?
No. Manual measurement entry, pricing and quoting work without Apple Intelligence. AR, LiDAR and on-device assistance depend on supported hardware and availability. The app currently requires iOS 27.
Can I work without a signal?
The core measurement records, estimating and PDF workflow use local storage. Online address searches and purchases need connectivity. Dictation requires supported on-device English speech recognition; you can type the details instead.
Does a photo measure the driveway for me?
No. A single photo does not establish reliable dimensions. Enter checked measurements or use supported AR capture and verify it independently. Suggested site observations also need your review. Physical AR accuracy and field usability are still being validated.
Can I use my own prices?
Yes. Supply your material rates and other costs, choose markup or gross margin and review tax. You decide the construction assumptions and final price. The app does not supply guaranteed local rates or determine whether a specification is suitable.
Where are my customer details stored?
Job records and attachments are stored locally on your device. The current app has no developer account service or cloud sync. You choose where to share PDFs and exported archives. Keep your own backups for device loss or replacement. Read the privacy information.
Can I download it now?
Pave Measure is coming soon for iPhone and is not yet available to download. The free asphalt calculator is available here now. App availability and confirmed purchase details will be added when the release is ready.
